Over the years I have learned to listen to that intuitive “hit or gut feeling” that I get when something is right on or way off.<\/p>\n
Lately, I have been getting that intuitive hit every time I hear people talking about the work they are doing on prosperity through workshops, meditation, and positive affirmations – so I decided to meditate on it and this is what I got…<\/p>\n
Meditating, taking a class or doing positive affirmations will not necessarily increase your income. Surprised?<\/p>\n
It’s true that when you focus on what you want you are programming the universal mind to create your intention.<\/p>\n
Let’s first look at the meaning of prosperity. Which is what most classes are about – Prosperity Training. But we could just as easily used words such as rich, abundant or wealthy.<\/p>\n
Here are a few definitions for the word prosperity that I found online:<\/p>\n
So, if you focus on prosperity or being prosperous you would think by these definitions you would indeed make more money.<\/p>\n
But here is what I was told in my meditation.<\/p>\n
It’s the wording of the intention that needs clarification to truly get what you desire.<\/p>\n
The universe creates by gathering definitions not necessarily from your belief but from the collective consciousness of a belief. (Collective consciousness is the set of shared beliefs, ideas and moral attitudes which operate as a unifying force within society.)<\/p>\n
Did you know that if you earn $15,000 a year you are in the top 7.91% in terms of income for the world population? $20,000 brings you into the top 3.56%. (calculated on: globalrichlist.com).<\/p>\n
This may not seem like that much money where you are from but globally this level of income is truly prosperous!<\/p>\n
So how can the universe create prosperity for you if by the collective consciousness of prosperity you are already there?
\nA much more effective way to increase your income is to focus on, to create a mantra for, to meditate on exactly what you want.<\/p>\n
Prosperity is not a specific goal – start with a specific goal such as doubling your income.<\/p>\n
Some concrete examples would be:<\/p>\n
Notice the way the examples are phrased.<\/p>\n
Many affirmation techniques advice to make you statement as a completed event.<\/p>\n
Such as “I am rich and prosperous”.<\/p>\n
The belief is that the universe will come into alignment with you statement.<\/p>\n
However, unless you fully believe your statement you will not be able to put required energy behind it.<\/p>\n
Your body will rebel against a statement it does not believe.<\/p>\n
That is why my examples above make the affirmation a process.<\/p>\n
Your body can accept a process and will put the required energy behind the affirmation.<\/p>\n
